Restoration of the Mau Forest Ecosystem

This map shows the catchment of Lake Naivasha, including Eburu Forest Reserve which is one of the 22 forest blocks of the Mau Forests Complex.

This map shows Makalia, Naishi, Nderit and Njoro rivers.  These are the four rivers that feed into Lake Nakuru.

This map shows the location and approximate extent of the main biodiversity hotspots in the Mau forest ecosystem.  The map is based on a study carried out by the National Museums of Kenya in 2009 that was commissioned by the Mau Task Force.
